Alan has practiced in the field of real estate for over twenty-five years.  His present practice is concentrated on the litigation and arbitration of property disputes and corporate conflicts as well as acting as general counsel to cooperative and condominium boards.  Alan also represents high net worth clients in the negotiation of contracts of sale and purchase.

After his graduation from Brooklyn Law School in 1975, Alan served as law clerk to a United States District Court Judge in the District of West Virginia.  After investigating and litigating medical fraud with the New York State Bureau of Medicaid Fraud and Abuse, Alan turned his efforts to real estate in 1981, rising to managing partner at Ganfer and Shore, LLP, a New York real estate law firm.

Mr. Fried joined Braverman & Associates in 2005, and continues to service clients with real estate related legal issues.
