As a tenant-shareholder and board member of a New York City cooperative, I have first-hand knowledge of the daily issues and challenges that face those who volunteer their time as members of their cooperative or condominium board to create a better community for everyone.
For the past 20 years, I have let my personal experience shape my professional life as an attorney representing cooperative and condominium boards. My goal as an attorney, much like my goal as a member of my board, is to try and resolve issues so that all parties can live in (relative) harmony to avoid the time, expense and emotional toll that is attendant to litigation. I am also a realist and I recognize that this cannot always be accomplished. When litigation is unavoidable, my clients rely on the wealth of my experience litigating hundreds of condominium and cooperative matters and tireless advocacy on their behalf to achieve their goals.
