I have been practicing housing and real estate law for over forty years, with a concentration in the areas of cooperative and condominium board representation and, commercial and residential real estate transactions, including leasing, all types of purchase and sales transactions, financing, and workouts.
Beginning in my first year of law school and following my graduation, I worked for a small, Manhattan- based law firm that specialized in housing law, where I handled litigation, transactional matters, the representation of tenant associations in the negotiation of the conversion of rental properties throughout New York City, and the representation of cooperative of condominium boards of directors.
In 1986, I co-founded Finder Novick Kerrigan law LLP, where I continued to grow my community housing and commercial real estate practice. I currently serve as general counsel to scores of cooperative and condominium boards and in such capacity represent them in a wide range of matters, including, construction contracts, access-license agreements, employment issues, financings, corporate governance and providing general counsel.
Along with my partners from Finder Novick Kerrigan, I joined Braverman Greenspun in 2023.
I have lectured extensively and have been interviewed and quoted on numerous occasions in the New York press, radio and other media.
