In the June 2023 edition of Cooperator News’ magazine, Kelly Ringston was quoted about the importance of governing document literacy and how buyers of co-ops, condos, and HOAs can be well-prepared as they become owners of such units.
Kelly notes, “a large number of disputes that we see have to do with things that could have been resolved by reading the governing documents before one takes action…. Just having a general familiarity with your documents can make everyone’s—board and owners— experience much smoother.”
