Braverman Greenspun partner Tracy Peterson has been named to the 2023 Women Worth Watching list by Profiles in Diversity Journal. The annual list recognizes professional women across the globe who are influencing their workplaces and industries.
At Braverman Greenspun, Tracy primarily represents the interests of cooperative boards of directors and condominium boards of managers, as well as the interests of individual owners, in matters being litigated at the trial and appellate levels. Tracy also provides general counsel services to cooperative and condominium boards, running the gamut from election issues to alterations to overhauling governing documents. Tracy has additional experience representing attorneys in the defense of legal malpractice actions and assists clients with general commercial litigation matters.
For the past 16 years, Tracy has been an integral member of the firm, and became the first “mom-partner” in the firm’s history, just two years after becoming a mother. Tracy is consciously trying to pave the way for her female colleagues, keeping herself involved in the firm’s development of policies to benefit the firm’s women and parents. Additionally, Tracy is a mentor to many of her younger colleagues and helps guide them in their professional goals, acting as a valuable sounding board in both professional and personal matters.
Tracy will be featured in the September issue of Profiles in Diversity Journal.
