Cheryl Ginsburg Named to Profiles in Leadership Journal’s Women Worth Watching in Leadership Award

Braverman Greenspun partner Cheryl Ginsburg has been selected for Profiles in Leadership Journal’s 2026 Women Worth Watching in Leadership Award. The annual recognition honors exceptional women who leverage their talents and influence to drive innovation, inspire others, and contribute lasting value within their organizations and industries.

Cheryl’s practice spans both real estate litigation and transactional work. For over two decades, she has represented landlords, tenants, borrowers, lenders, and property owners in matters ranging from routine leasing to complex, high-stakes disputes. Her dual perspective as a litigator and deal lawyer is a defining asset for clients: she drafts agreements with an eye toward arguments she has seen made in court, reducing the likelihood of future disputes and positioning clients more effectively when litigation does arise.

Her litigation work includes commercial and residential holdover and nonpayment proceedings at the trial and appellate levels, as well as matters involving possessory interests, monetary claims, guarantor actions, and complex lease disputes. On the transactional side, she advises clients on the purchase, sale, leasing, and financing of residential and commercial properties across the New York area. Within the firm, Cheryl plays an active role in mentoring junior lawyers, encouraging them to develop independent judgment and think critically through issues rather than simply follow a prescribed path.
