More than 50 years after its founding as one of the first New York law firms focused on serving shareholders and unit owners of cooperatives and condominiums, with the recent announcement of Andrew Braverman as an associate the firm now marks three generations of attorneys from the family that made the firm what it is today.
Discussing the firm’s growth, managing partner Rob Braverman told Law360 that “It was just my father and I and maybe one other lawyer at the very beginning, so I had really no choice but to learn everything from him directly. Andrew has the benefit of being able to work with 22 other lawyers who each have different skill sets and ways of doing things. So he’s getting a much broader exposure than I did.”
Founded by Edward T. Braverman in 1968, Rob Braverman—along with Scott Greenspun—have strategically grown the firm into the 23-attorney residential and commercial real estate boutique it is today.
